For my graduation project, I designed a lounge chair set that challenges the fast furniture trend, where pieces are often discarded after only a few years. One of my solutions was to create a lounge chair that integrates sentimental value by fusing a personal plaid (from, for example, grandparents) into the design itself. This approach not only gives the chair a unique, personal character but also encourages a longer lifespan through emotional attachment.
