The side table i made during my minor "Robotic production and circular materials".
The assignment was to make a product of residual wood coming from benches seen in the picture below. The beams of these benches are cut on a precise length and all the excess wood was thrown away.
During this project I learned to work with a robotic arm. I learned to program the movement of the arm, and also operate the device.
I worked with the programs rhino and grasshopper during this period.
I think it is very interesting how it's possible to make parametric designs in grasshopper and how that could be implemented in robotic production.
